Overview

AG Semiconductor Limited (AG Semi) is a leading global provider of second-hand semiconductor manufacturing equipment and services. We specialize in front-end manufacturing equipment acquired from leading chip manufacturers in Asia, the United States and Europe (including Agere, AMD, Fujitsu, IBM, Infineon, Intel, Lucent, Toshiba, Hynix and Philips). Although we acquire individual tools on a selective basis, most of our tools are purchased in bulk from major fab closures.  During the past decade, AG Semi or its predecessors have acquired over 3,500 front-end manufacturing tools with an original equipment cost (OEC) in excess of $3 billion.
Our customer base includes well established and early stage companies around the world.  Our sales capability ranges from individual tools to complete manufacturing lines.  Our services are tailored to the specific needs of our customer and range from “as is, where is” to refurbishment, installation, start-up, qualification and warranty.
Our inventory is stored at one of three equipment centers located in China, Europe and the United States.  Our equipment centers include climate storage, clean rooms, show rooms and refurbishment facility where tools can be reconfigured, refurbished, and demonstrated for customers.
AG Semi is managed by AG Semiconductor Services, Inc., headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. The principals of AG Semi Services have negotiated all of the portfolio purchases undertaken by AG Semi and manage all of the sales, refurbishment and other activities undertaken by AG Semi.  AG Semi Services has sales representatives in the China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.
